Why choose aerial application

Minimized Crop Damage

Aerial application helps avoid  track damage to crops, which can enhance yields. In contrast, ground  equipment often incurs damage, averaging around 3% and up to 5% in areas  with more obstacles.

Cost-Efficiency

Example 1: For canola, at 55 bushels per acre priced at  $20 per bushel, the total revenue is $1100 per acre. Ground rig costs  are approximately $12.00 per acre, plus an additional $33 per acre due to  3% trampling, totaling $45.00 per acre. Aerial application costs only  $18.50 per acre, yielding a savings of $27.00 per acre compared to ground  application.

Example 2: For wheat, at 60 bushels per acre priced at  $8.00 per bushel, the total revenue is $480 per acre. Ground rig costs  are approximately $12.00 per acre, plus $14.50 per acre due to trampling,  totaling $26.50 per acre.  In contrast, aerial application costs just $18.50 per acre, resulting in  savings of $8.00 per acre.

Disease Prevention

Aerial application reduces the risk  of spreading disease as there is no direct contact with the soil. This  prevents the movement of spores and minimizes damage to plants, which  can lead to susceptibility to diseases

No Soil Compaction

Using aerial methods avoids soil  compaction associated with ground equipment, allowing for better air and  water movement into the root zone. This helps maintain soil health and  prevents problems during harvest and seeding due to ruts or trampled  straw.

No Crop Height Limit

Aerial application can be  performed regardless of crop height, enabling late-stage application of  fungicides, pesticides, fertilizers, or insecticides without  restrictions.

Increased Efficiency

Aerial application allows for  faster coverage of larger areas, ensuring that pesticides are applied  during optimal times for maximum effectiveness against pests
